Intrastate Pest Control And Valley Termite And Pest Sell To American Pest, An Anticimex Company

FULTON, MD — American Pest, an Anticimex company, announced the acquisition of Intrastate Pest Control Co., Inc and Valley Termite & Pest Control, LLC (collectively referred to as Intrastate) — both family-owned pest control operations located in Charlottesville, VA, and Staunton, VA, respectively.

Intrastate Pest Control was founded in 1969 by Robert “Bob” Wells and has been serving the Charlottesville community for three generations, with strong market share and an unparalleled reputation. Greg Wells came to work full time in the business in 1994 and bought the business from his father in 2009. Valley Termite & Pest was purchased by Greg and his wife Barbara in 2004 and operates in the Shenandoah Valley footprint.

The acquisition of Intrastate Pest Company and Valley Termite & Pest Control, Inc. is American Pest’s 13th acquisition in 4 years, bringing 35 additional pest professionals to its expanding team.
