Rodent Control: Four Things Falls Church Homeowners Need To Know
1. Rodents are common area intruders that can cause a lot of issues if they get into your Falls Church home. These sneaky pests are very unsanitary, and they contaminate every area of your home, including food sources, and vulnerable surfaces. Here are four things that all homeowners need to know about rodents:
2. Rodents manage to get into tiny spaces, cracks, and crevices around your home, often sneaking through entry points that are inaccessible and hard to see.
3. Rodents feed on garbage and decaying matter. They leave trail droppings of excrement, contaminating the areas they pass through and exposing you to a long list of potential health threats.
4. Rodents scamper inside of wall voids, gnawing their way through the construction and electrical wiring. This causes a lot of damage and even puts you at risk for a potential house fire.
Rodents reproduce very quickly, so an infestation can spread like wildfire. Once rodents get into your house and breed, there’s no telling where in the house you may find them.
If you want to protect your home and your loved ones from the dangers of rodent infestation, the best thing to do is to call in the professionals. Here at Miche Pest Control, we guarantee the complete extermination of all rodent activity, and we’ll prevent them from coming back. Call us today.

- Chewing through construction materials to get inside.
- Entering through water pipes, emerging through sinks, drains, and toilets.
- Getting in through spaces around vents and garage doors.
- Slipping into small openings around the foundation.
- Sneaking into openings in and around the roof and chimney.

Falls Church VA
Falls Church is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Falls Church is included in the Washington metropolitan area. Taking its name from The Falls Church, an 18th-century Church of England (later Episcopal Church) parish, Falls Church gained township status within Fairfax County in 1875. In 1948, it was incorporated as the City of Falls Church, an independent city with county-level governance status although it is not a county. The city's corporate boundaries do not include all of the area historically known as Falls Church; these areas include portions of Seven Corners and other portions of the current Falls Church postal districts of Fairfax County, as well as the area of Arlington County known as East Falls Church, which was part of the town of Falls Church from 1875 to 1936.
At 2.11 square miles, Falls Church is the smallest independent city by area in Virginia. Since independent cities in Virginia are considered county-equivalents, it is also the smallest county-equivalent in the United States by area. The center of the city is the crossroads of Virginia State Route 7 (Broad St./Leesburg Pike) and U.S. Route 29 (Washington St./Lee Highway). The primary roads serving Falls Church directly are U.S. Route 29 and Virginia State Route 7. The portion of US 29 through Falls Church is also coincident with Virginia State Route 237. Most of Virginia State Route 338 is also within Falls Church. Interstate 66 passes just north of the city, while Interstate 495 passes a few miles to the west.
