Why Professional Pest Control Is The Right Call For Your Gaithersburg Business

When it comes to pests on a commercial property, the best way to handle them is with professional pest control services. There are many reasons, but one of the primary ones is that pests pose dangerous health concerns to people, including spreading diseases, contaminating food and surfaces, potentially biting and stinging, and more.

Pests are challenging to eliminate, and, more often than not, it takes a trained professional to get the job done right. DIY methods are ineffective against pests because they don't address why they are a problem and how they get inside.

The pests will return and re-infest without getting to the root of an infestation. Getting rid of pests quickly is essential because they can easily damage a business's reputation, leading to the loss of customer trust.

Miche Pest Control can assist you with the commercial pest control services you need to maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.

The Pests Affecting Gaithersburg Businesses

Many different types of pests affect businesses in the Gaithersburg area. Some of the insects you might experience on your commercial property are ants, carpenter bees, centipedes, clover mites, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, and ladybugs.

And if you think that's a lot of pests, there are also millipedes, mosquitoes, rodents, silverfish, springtails, stinging insects, stink bugs, ticks, and the dreaded termite.

These pests don't only affect businesses but homes too. So don't forget to protect your residential property against them as well!

Call Miche Pest Control today to get the commercial and residential pest control services you need.

The Best Way To Protect Your Gaithersburg Business From Dangerous Pests

While not all pests are dangerous because they transmit diseases or cause other harm to people, all pests are harmful to businesses. No matter what kind of business you are in, having a pest problem in your facility can cause many issues, including ruining a customer's trust in the company. The best way to protect your Gaithersburg business from dangerous pests is with the ongoing assistance of pest control experts.

At Miche Pest Control, we customize our commercial pest control options to meet the needs of each of our clients; this is essential to effective treatments because no two properties are the same. Every pest problem you experience will be different from the last.

When pest control companies rely on a one-size-fits-all approach, they are not taking into account the environmental and circumstantial factors that play a big part in why and how pests infest in the first place. When you don't address these aspects of pest problems, you leave a property vulnerable to reinfestation.

Although the treatments we perform on your property will vary, they may consist of:

  • Exterior spider web removal with a 24-foot pole and special brush
  • Four to six-foot foot barrier spray around the foundation
  • Hornet, wasp, and yellow jacket nest removal
  • Ten-foot repellent granular barrier or use of ant bait, depending on your needs
  • Treatments to target cracks and crevices
  • Inside treatments only when necessary to reduce the number of products used on the interior

We only use products labeled for use in sensitive locations and that are EPA registered, so you can have peace of mind about the treatments utilized where employees and customers frequent.

Contact the best commercial pest control company in Gaithersburg to handle all your pest control needs, whether you have an active infestation or want to prevent one from happening.

Three Reasons Every Gaithersburg Business Needs Commercial Pest Control

It's not uncommon for a business to think they don't need commercial pest control from professionals. Often it appears there are no visible pest problems or DIY pest control seems like a more manageable and cheaper option, but as you will learn, this is not the case.

Here are three reasons why every Gaithersburg business needs commercial pest control:

  1. Not all pest problems are visible right away or at all. Pests can cause damage, spread diseases, and many other issues without being noticed until it's too late. But with ongoing pest control services, experts know what to look for and how to monitor a property for pests.
  2. DIY pest control often doesn't address why and how pests are an issue, which leaves them to continue inviting pests inside. On the other hand, experts know how to identify the conditions allowing pests to thrive and can address them through the necessary treatments and changes.
  3. "Commercial pest control costs too much and isn't worth it unless there is an active infestation." Many business owners believe this, but that couldn't be more wrong. Reliable commercial pest control is a necessary investment to provide employees with a safe working environment and customers the best experience. Waiting until you have a pest problem can risk tarnishing your reputation.

Look to Miche Pest Control for the quality commercial pest control your business deserves.

Gaithersburg MD

Gaithersburg, officially the City of Gaithersburg, is a city in Montgomery County, Maryland. Gaithersburg is the fourth-largest incorporated city in Maryland, behind Baltimore, Frederick, and Rockville. Gaithersburg is located to the northwest of Washington DC, and is considered a suburb and a primary city within the Washington–ArlingtonAlexandria, DC–VA–MD–WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. Gaithersburg was incorporated as a town in 1878 and as a city in 1968. Gaithersburg is noted for its ethnic and economic diversity; WalletHub in 2016 ranked it first among the 313 largest U.S. cities for ethnic diversity and second for social class diversity.

Gaithersburg is divided into east and west sections, separated by Interstate 270. The eastern section of the city is older and is the original portion of the town before more recent growth. Landmarks and buildings from that time can still be seen in many places but especially in the historic central business district of Gaithersburg called "Olde Towne". The east side also includes Lakeforest Mall, City Hall, and the Montgomery County Fair grounds, and Bohrer Park (a well-known joint community recreation center and outdoor water park for kids and families). The west side of the city has many wealthier neighborhoods that were designed with smart growth techniques and embrace New Urbanism. These include the award-winning Kentlands community, the Lakelands community, and the Washingtonian Center (better known as Rio), a popular shopping/business district. Two New Urbanism communities are under construction, including Watkins Mill Town Center (Casey East and West), and the massive "Science City".

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is headquartered in Gaithersburg directly west of I-270. Other major employers in the city include IBM, Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services business area headquarters, AstraZeneca, and the French multinational corporation, Sodexo. Gaithersburg is also the location of the garrison of the United States Army Reserve Legal Command.

The most prominent highways serving Gaithersburg are Interstate 270 and Interstate 370. I-270 is the main highway leading northwest out of metropolitan Washington DC, beginning at Interstate 495 (the Capital Beltway) and proceeding northwestward to Interstate 70 in Frederick. I-370 is a short spur, starting just west of I-270 in Gaithersburg and heading east to its junction with Maryland Route 200. Via MD 200, I-370 connects Gaithersburg with Interstate 95 near Laurel. Maryland Route 355 was the precursor to I-270 and follows a parallel route. It now serves as the main commercial roadway through Gaithersburg and neighboring communities. Other state highways serving Gaithersburg include Maryland Route 117, Maryland Route 119 and Maryland Route 124. Maryland Route 28 passes just outside the Gaithersburg corporate limits.
