Why Cockroaches Are A Problem For Your Falls Church Business
If you own a business here in Falls Church, it’s important to be aware of cockroach activity. Cockroaches pose a real threat to the health of your customers and employees. These intruders hang out in trash, sewage, dumps, and other filthy places to feed on decaying matter and organic food sources.
They pick up all kinds of bacteria on their travels, and when they enter your business, they bring the bacteria and pathogens with them. They crawl around your space, traveling along vulnerable surfaces, and causing widespread contamination. In turn, this puts your health and well-being in harm’s way.
Cockroach infestation is linked to many diseases, such as dysentery, cholera, giardia, Typhoid fever, and a host of viral diseases. As cockroaches spread around your space, they contaminate the insulation and cause allergens to become airborne. They also leave feces, saliva, shed skin, and other droppings everywhere they go. This can provoke allergies and asthmatic symptoms.
There are a total of 30 different species of human bacteria associated with a cockroach infestation, and an infestation is a sure-fire way to take down your hard-earned reputation. The most effective way to guard your business against cockroach infestation is to call the team at Miche Pest Control. We’re here to help detect, eliminate, and prevent all cockroach activity around your property, guaranteed.

As previously mentioned, cockroaches are dangerous and challenging to eliminate once they infest a home. The best thing to do when dealing with an infestation is to contact pest control professionals for assistance.
At Miche Pest Control, we treat this pest under our quarterly pest control services. German cockroaches are one of the most, if not the most, difficult pests to eliminate, so much so that many pest control companies won't treat them. Then, we will use various products and methods such as gel baits, residual liquids, traps, and more to accomplish this goal. As with other pests, the challenge is to break the cockroach lifecycle to stop new populations from forming.
After the initial treatment, we will continue to follow up to ensure your home remains cockroach-free. To learn more about our cockroach control treatments and schedule a free inspection, contact us at Miche Pest Control.
Falls Church VA
Falls Church is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Falls Church is included in the Washington metropolitan area. Taking its name from The Falls Church, an 18th-century Church of England (later Episcopal Church) parish, Falls Church gained township status within Fairfax County in 1875. In 1948, it was incorporated as the City of Falls Church, an independent city with county-level governance status although it is not a county. The city's corporate boundaries do not include all of the area historically known as Falls Church; these areas include portions of Seven Corners and other portions of the current Falls Church postal districts of Fairfax County, as well as the area of Arlington County known as East Falls Church, which was part of the town of Falls Church from 1875 to 1936.
At 2.11 square miles, Falls Church is the smallest independent city by area in Virginia. Since independent cities in Virginia are considered county-equivalents, it is also the smallest county-equivalent in the United States by area. The center of the city is the crossroads of Virginia State Route 7 (Broad St./Leesburg Pike) and U.S. Route 29 (Washington St./Lee Highway). The primary roads serving Falls Church directly are U.S. Route 29 and Virginia State Route 7. The portion of US 29 through Falls Church is also coincident with Virginia State Route 237. Most of Virginia State Route 338 is also within Falls Church. Interstate 66 passes just north of the city, while Interstate 495 passes a few miles to the west.
