Why Home Pest Control Is Important In Burke
Whether big or small, when pest problems happen in Burke homes, they can be stressful, dangerous, and damaging to deal with. Something as seemingly simple as an ant infestation can be unsightly and unnerving to deal with. A cockroach issue may also lead to a spider population and the infestation of your food with E. coli. As it pertains to rats and mice, these pests can chew at electrical wiring until they cause house fires, as well as spread dangerous parasites like fleas, ticks, and mites, which can be very harmful to your health and the health of any pets.
With home pest control from Miche Pest Control, we can protect your home no matter the season. Our plans are designed for maximum coverage with quarterly services, EPA-approved products, de-webbing, the removal of wasp nests, and a granular treatment for ants. If any pests return between these visits, we'll even re-treat your property at no additional cost to you. But most of all, when you partner with us for residential pest control, you can sleep at night knowing that you have a team of pros on your side. For more information, contact us today.
DIY Pest Control In Burke: What You Need To Know
When pest problems happen in Burke homes, it’s very common for residents to purchase a mouse trap or bait from the local home improvement store. These methods, however, can be costly, unfruitful, and dangerous to implement. In the case of rodents, they are very commonly dangerous and carriers of pathogens such as salmonella, hantavirus, and tularemia. Additionally, rodents multiply at rapid rates, producing a litter of pups approximately every month, so catching one mouse will not get at the root cause of the issues that are plaguing you. And with bed bugs, this is a type of infestation that is always better left to professional pest control. Bed bugs tend to live out of sight from humans, only coming out at night to feast on your blood. This makes them harder to find and even harder to get rid of, and if you’re not entirely successful in their removal, you may have bigger issues in the future.
Trying to handle pest infestations with DIY methods is something that may sound feasible but the average homeowner simply isn’t equipped with the skills, knowledge, and tools required to be impactful. At Miche Pest Control, our expert technicians have years of diverse experience and work with EPA-approved products to treat all of your pest dilemmas. We also offer a pest-free guarantee and routine service to further ensure your safety. To learn more about how professional pest control can protect your home, contact us today.

How To Identify Pest Control Problems In Burke
There’s a multitude of pest problems that could occur in your Burke property at any time. Here are some of the most common pests you’re likely to encounter and what an issue with them might look like:
- Termites. If you’re experiencing a termite infestation, you might notice signs like swollen ceilings, hollow-sounding walls, bubbling wallpaper, and doors or windows that won’t close.
- Rodents. Small piles of fecal matter are one of the most common indicators of a rodent infestation. Other signs might include chewed walls or shredded clothing.
- Cockroaches. Perhaps one of the most dangerous pests for your health, a cockroach problem may include chewed cereal boxes, smear marks on your walls, and roaches scurrying around.
- Spiders. No matter the species, a spider population generally implies that you have an active pest population of at least one other variety, as pests like cockroaches, flies, and gnats are a common source of food for spiders.
At Miche Pest Control, we provide comprehensive pest control services to meet all of your needs, no matter the pest or the time of year. To learn more about how we can protect your home from pests, contact us today.
